June 12th, 1775 - The first Naval battle of the American Revolution took place off the coast of Machias, ME. When the armed British sloop Margaretta pulled into port alongside the merchant ships Unity & Polly, demanding lumber to support the British troopes under seige in Boston, the locals plotted to arrest the Captain & crew.
After norrowly escaping back to their shipo, the Margaretta fled for open seas. LT Benjamin Foster and Jeremiah O'Brien quickly assembled crews armed with anything they couldfind and they took off in pursuit abode the Unity and Falmouth Packet. After a skirmish left the Captain of the Margaretta fatally wounded, the British vessel surrendered. The Unity was them commandeered, armed and renames Machias Liberty with Jeremiah O'Brien as its Captian.

Our original Milk Stout brewed with heavy dark chocolate malts and touch of vanilla notes. Pouring on Nitro in the taproom & packaged on liquid Nitrogen in cans with a 5.4% abv.
